My Two Sisters and Brother.....

I have two sisters and one brother. My sisters' names are Lyssette and Annette, and my brother's name is Ruben. Lyssette is turning 23 this December, Annette is 12, and Ruben will be turning 10 this December. Lyssette is a nice person, just do not get on her bad side because it is a living hell! She has a bad temper and when she gets mad, she gets mad. Other than having a bad temper she can also be a loving and caring person. She does have feelings, she is not made of stone. Lyssette is also a neat freak, everything she owns has to be organized properly in its place. Annette, on the other hand, is not that organized. She is also nice and caring. She has this bad attitude I do not like, but I have to deal with it. She has allergies so she is always crazy sneezing, which sometimes annoys me because I have to constantly say bless you. My brother Ruben is a silly kid. He plays around too much and he can be very annoying sometimes. He can also sometimes be nice and sweet, but he also has this attitude I wish he did not have. He is athletic, he plays soccer for two  teams. I can just say that the word silly is a good way to describe him. Yes, these are my siblings.

My Pet.....

If I could have any animal for a pet, I would want a parrot. I have been wanting a parrot since the longest, but due to the fact that we travel to Mexico in the July and December I can not have one because there will be no one to take care of him. His name would be Lencho and I would like to get him since he was born. It would be red, green, black, and blue. Having a pet is a big responsibility for all the things you have to do. I would have to feed him, clean his food and water, and clean his cage. The reason I also want a parrot is because I want to teach it how to talk. I would take him everywhere with me on my shoulder and it would be cool for him to talk to the people we pass through where ever we go to. Birds are such beautiful animals, especially if they are colorful just like I would like my parrot to be. Hopefully one day I get to own a parrot of my own.

My Journey On A Pirate Ship.....

It was a cloudy day, and the waves were angry. We were on a journey to find the treasure on the Island of Lencha. Along with me on the journey came Karen, Roxy, Rosy, Fredi, and Paco the Parrot. The five of us and the parrot were ready to find a treasure, hoping it was filled with gold and money. The weather that day was not pleasing, making it harder for us to have a adventurous journey. The clouds started to build up, the storm was coming! We all hurried inside before it started to rain. Quickly we brought the stuff in and shut the door tightly. It was a bad day to be on a journey with this weather. Roxy noticed the map was outside, but in the rain. It got ruined, which meant we were lost. Great, in the rain and now lost? We all were scared, cold and worried on what would happen to us. We only had an unlimited supply of food and resources to keep us alive. We were not going to be able to last for a long time. It rained like never before, and the waves were as furious as fire. For a moment there we thought the boat was going to flip over because of the strong waves, but we manged to survive. The storm lasted for about an hour. All of us were scared and we were praying to God that everything went well. It stopped raining an there was a beautiful rainbow. The sun was shining high in the sky. We all went out quickly to see where we were. Up ahead there was an island, but we could not tell what the sign said. As we got closer, we were able to read the sign. It read: Island of Lencha. We had finally made it! We made it to land and got off, making our way to the treasure. We started to dig as fast as we could. There it was! We got the treasure box out and opened it. Inside there was gold and tons of money. It was a dream come true. Our journey had been accomplished.

My deepest fear.....

My deepest fear is my mind. When I'm in the dark, I start to imagine many bad things. My mind just plays with me. There has been times where I have heard things, but they were not there. Your mind is very strong and powerful, it can take over you. It has done it to me many times. I remember one time in Mexico I was outside my uncle's house and it was in the night time.Way ahead if you keep on walking there is this trail to go up to the mountains, where there are lions. That time I walked a little up the trail and I was looking and it was dark. I then saw something move. Right away in my mind I thought, " It is a lion!" I did not think twice and I quickly ran back inside the house. I waited a while and went back outside slowly. I looked again and I saw something with glowing eyes walking towards me. I got really scared, but then I noticed that it was my uncle's dog Garra. It was my mind that had me thinking this way. There have been many other occasions like this I have experienced. It has been that I hear or see things. I have to watch out or it is going to end up controlling me completely!

My Restaurant.....

If I opened a restaurant, I would name it Lencha's Mexican Bar & Restaurant. Since I am a very colorful person, the inside would be decorated with many different, bright colors such as red, orange, lime green, purple, yellow and turquoise. The tables and the seats would be made out of wood. In each table you will find napkins in a holder, salt and pepper shakers, and tapatio and valentina hot sauce bottles and a bowl full of Mexican candy, spicy and sweet. The curtains on the windows would be red, and they would be open during the day and closed at night. There will always be Mexican music playing, and sometimes I would contract some bandas, mariachi, or tamborazo to play live for the audience. Happy hour would be from 6-10 P.M., and all drinks would be half off and the refills would be free. In my restaurant, I would give the job to the people I knew that needed a job or hire someone that was responsible enough to handle the work that had to be done. The food that would be served at my restaurant would be typical Mexican foods such as posole, mole, tamales, birria, menudo, sopes, tacos dorados, tacos, burritos, chilito de puerco, picadillo, chicharrones, quesadillas, chiles rellenos, and enchiladas. For desserts there would be raspados, buñuelos, flan, and tres leches cake and many more. This would be my dream restaurant.

The dinosaur in my backyard.....

It was 9:30 A.M., my eyes were wide open looking up at the ceiling. In my head, I was thinking on what my day would be like. I was home alone, so I figured I can sleep a little longer. As I was thinking, I heard a loud roar in my backyard. I was shocked, it caught me off guard. I quickly got out of bed and went running outside. As soon as I opened the door and looked outside, I saw a huge green dinosaur. I was so shocked, my mouth was wide opened. I got closer to it and he tilted his head towards me. It seems as though he was hungry because he was eating my mother's plants. I slowly and gently patted him on his head. He was sweet and nice, something I was not expecting. He licked my face, this made me know he liked me. I was there just amazed, seeing this creature wondering from where did it come from. I then decided I should name him Leo. I went inside the house running to call my mom and my sister. They did not believe me and they both said,  "Are you still asleep and dreamimg!?" They did not want to believe me, oh well! I went back outside to check on Leo and he was eating my mother's plants. Oh, was I going to be in trouble when she found out. I was so excited that I wanted to tell everyone about Leo, so I decided our first adventure would be to go to Starbucks!

If I could cook any meal for my family.....

If I could cook any meal for my family, I would cook them enchiladas. These enchiladas are made with corn tortillas, ranchero cheese, onion and with las palmas enchilada sauce. First, you heat the tortillas on a comal. Meanwhile, pour the las palmas enchilada sauce on a pan and put it on the stove until it boils completely. Once you have heated all the tortillas and the sauce has boiled up, start to smash the cheese on a plate until it is completely apart. Once done, start to cut an onion into small pieces. When you finish cutting the onion, place on top of the cheese and mix it all together. Then, get a big pan and place one pound of lard and let it dissolve in medium heat. Once the lard has dissolved you are ready to begin. Get the tortillas one by one and soak them in the sauce. Slowly place the tortilla on the pan and be careful with the lard because it might burn you. Flip the tortilla to the other side after a while and leave again for a while. Take the tortilla out with a spatula and place on a big, round plate. Grab a half full hand of cheese mixed with onion and place in the middle of the tortilla. Wrap the tortilla once you have placed the cheese in the middle. Repeat these steps until you have finished with all the tortillas. Once I would finished making the enchiladas, I would place them in the middle of the table. After that, I would say," Dig in!"

The time I was brave.....

When I was in middle school, there was this boy in my band class that used to bother me all the time. His name was Jason and he was an eighth grader, while I was just an innocent sixth grader. We both played the saxophone, so he sat next to me in class. He was really mean and rude. While I would play, he always pushed the keys on my saxophone and that would mess up the piece. I didn't have the courage to tell him and stand up to myself. Every time I would enter class, he would already be there sitting down with a big smile on his face, probably thinking of what he was planning for his next attack on me. One day, almost close to the end of the school year, we were practicing on the piece we were going to perform at our last concert. Jason then started to push the keys on my saxophone. I felt really mad, I just could not take it anymore. I grabbed his hand, squeezed it with my nails and I told him to leave me alone in a very mad voice. He was just looking at me with a surprised face. From that day on he did not bother me again.

Imagine you had a hundred dollars...

If I had a hundred dollars I couldn't keep, I would give the money to the homeless. They would appreciate this gesture because they can buy things they need such as food and clothes. Many of them go to sleep on an empty stomach, or some do not eat at all. Just to think that they will get to eat a meal makes me feel happy. Those once bare feet will now have a chance to be covered with socks and shoes, no more blisters. It is possible that the lady that was once cold at night will now be able to have a blanket or sweater to keep her warm. This gesture would make me feel proud of myself, I would make my community a better place.

Do you remember?...

Do you remember when the Anaheim Angels made it to the playoffs last year? It was a wonderful day, all the players were soaked in champagne celebrating their victory. The first team they played against was the Boston Red Sox. Usually each year the Angels make the playoffs, they always loose against Boston. Last year, it was a totally different story. The Angels proudly made it to the second round and they eliminated the Red Sox from the playoffs. Their next opponent were the New York Yankees. Sadly, the Yankees eliminated the Angels from the playoffs. I felt really sad, and still to this day because this year as it seems they will not make the playoffs this year. I feel disappointed at them, but I still have much love for them. I am a true Angel fan, today, tomorrow, and until the day I die.

When I wake up...

When I wake up in the morning, I first grab my hair with my black scrunchie. I fold my teddy bear blanket, the one I have had ever since I was small. I make my way to the bathroom to wash my face and teeth. Once I am done, I grab my blue towel and I wash my hair. I put shampoo and then conditioner. I then wrap my wet hair in my blue towel and go take out my hairspray, mousse, brush and some bobby pins. My hair is fixed now, it only takes me ten minutes. I then wash my hands to take off the stickiness of the mousse. I make my way to the dryer and put in my towel. Now my hair hair is done, time to do my makeup. First, I curl my eyelashes with the curler. Then I apply the mascara two times on each eyelash. After, I apply eyeliner on the bottom of my eye. Finally, I curl my eyelashes once again and my makeup is all done. Once I have finished with my makeup, I go change into my school clothes. I put on my socks, then my shoes. Now that I have finished getting ready, I go put everything away where it belongs. I make my way to the kitchen and I prepare myself a breakfast burrito with some hot coffee. After I finish eating, I wash my dishes and then I go put some lotion on my arms and hands. I slip my rings on, I put my sweater on, grab a water bottle from the refrigerator, say bye to my mom, and out the door I go on my way to school.

The first thing I want in the morning...

The first thing I want in the morning is my grande dark cherry mocha frappuccino. Just to think about the aroma makes me want to wake up and scream of joy until I loose my voice. It feels great to watch the early Anaheim Angel baseball games, cheering then on with my dark cherry mocha in my right hand. I can feel the coffee go down my stomach, satisfying it in all the senses. The morning and coffee make such a great combination. Talking about this makes me want to go to Starbucks this instant! I just love Starbucks, it stole my heart!

My mother used to have...

My mother used to have a pet pig when she lived in Mexico as a child. She told my siblings and I that she really loved him. His name was Tachito. I thought it was adorable when she said that Tachito would be out near the river and they would shout his name," Tachito, Tachito!"  As soon as he heard his name, he would come back home running. Unfortunately he died because he was poisoned by herbs people used to throw out. Now, many pigs in Mexico are used to kill them and eat them, not as pets. Every year I go to Mexico I get to meet new pigs each time I go. I just see them and think that in a while they will soon be in my stomach. I once saw when they killed a pig. Poor thing, it was shot and it started rolling around. The gun shot did not work so the man stabbed him in the heart. Then after that starts the peeling of the skin. It did not gross me out at all, but I just felt sorry for the pig. I wish I could have a pet baby pig, they are so adorable!
